our story
it all began at the start of 2020 with a match,
and Fumi making the first move with a simple, curious question:
"what was your favourite childhood toy?"
that message sparked something special—and from there, our story started to unfold. while the world was slowing down during the pandemic, our connection only grew stronger. we wandered through quiet tokyo streets, discovered hidden cafes, and found joy in each other's company during a time when joy felt rare.
now, we’re excited to begin this next chapter together— and we can’t wait to celebrate it with you.

what time should i arrive
to the events?
the events will start promptly at the designated time.
we encourage you to arrive 10-15 minutes early to settle, enjoy the vibe or mingle before the celebrations start!
accommodation
we will be providing our guests complementary stay for 2 nights at Hotel Santika Sigilita Nusa Dua, with check-in on the 18th and check out on the 20th September.
however, indonesia might be the first time for some of you, and we want you to make the most out of your stay in bali. we secured a group rate for a different upgraded accommodation (not covered). please contact arlene or fumihiko for details if you are interested!
transportation
we will be providing transportation from Hotel Santika Sigilita Nusa Dua to the venues on the 19th for our guests, but you are welcome to use your personal transportation as well!
for personal sightseeing, we encourage you to download the Grab (local Uber taxi) or Gojek (local Uber eats) apps for safe and easy transport.
unplugged ceremony
the holy matrimony on 19th September will be an unplugged ceremony.
we truly appreciate your presence with us for this special moment, so please kindly turn off all phones and cameras at the church.
after the ceremony, please feel free to use them again.
our photographers will shoot the ceremony and we are sure you will love their work as much as we will! we are happy to share the photos after the event.
